Biblical story in Narnia

In magician’s Nephew, Aslan told Digory and Polly not to eat the fruit and bring it back. Then the Witch came and tried to tempt Digory into eating the fruit by saying it’s the fruit of Youth. In Genesis 3 it’s saying that God said you shall not eat from the fruit of the tree but you could eat from everything else. But then the devil came and tempted Adam and Eve by saying it will give you power if you eat from the tree more power than God. This picture is saying that there are people going to force and tempt you.

In the lion witch and the wardrobe, Aslan said that to save Edmund he would have to make a sacrifice. Then The witch came and wanted to kill Edmund but Aslan said no, so instead of Edmund being killed on the stone table and Narnia being ruled by the White Witch. Aslan suffered the consequence by sacrificing his life to save all of them. Like in the Bible it says that Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice to save us and so he suffered his own life on the cross for us. This picture is representing the cross.

In the Magician’s nephew, it said that Aslan brought life and form into Narnia using song. And in Genesis 1 it said that God made nothingness to life and it was bright and he did this by words. This picture is representing the light for when it comes to darkness.

How I fit into this story is most likely with Edmund. Why I relate to this character is because I am a stubborn person who doesn’t think through things before doing them. This means that I don’t really follow the rules too much. Like when in Narnia he didn’t listen to stay with Lucy and everyone. But instead chose to go to the castle when everyone said not too. Also another one is when he wasn’t thinking to keep his mouth shut and told the witch everything. We both need to think things through and learn from our mistakes.
